My Work
This page offers a brief look at how I support schools in building human-centered, inclusive, and academically rigorous learning environments.
My work focuses on expanding how the human story is told in education — through curriculum design, storytelling, and educator professional learning.
At the core of my practice is identity, cultural, and racial literacy, or understanding how culture, race, and other forms of social identity shape teaching, learning, and the school experience. Through institutional belonging strategies, expansive professional development, and inclusive curriculum and pedagogy, I support schools in engaging complex and sensitive topics within broader historical, cultural, and developmental frameworks.
Core Framework
My work is grounded in human-centered education that integrates:
Storytelling as a tool for teaching and learning — designing learning experiences that expand the “human story” in education
Identity literacy and racial literacy development — supporting educators in building shared language around identity, belonging, and bias
Inclusive, interdisciplinary curriculum design (PreK-12) — incorporating culturally expansive and historical lenses across subject areas (humanities, STEM, SEL, advisory)
